Since 1975, the Rotary Club of Scotts Valley has been a part of Rotary International, a network of 34,000 Rotary Clubs spread out over 200 countries and geographic areas.
“Service Above Self” is our motto. But to Rotarians this is more than a motto – it is a way of life. We life out that service in our Communities, in the International Arena, to the Youth, in our Vocations by abiding by the ethical values of Rotary, and to each other in through friendship, fellowship, and caring for each other in our difficult times.
The Award-Winning Rotary Club of Scotts Valley
Rotarians are leaders. If you visit our club, you will see that many of our community leaders are active Rotarians. Having lunch with the leaders of our community with diverse backgrounds is a wonderful backdrop to our interactions. In addition Rotary provides leadership training both in the club and beyond as one of the valued added features of being a Rotarian.
We are also committed to diversity. Walking into a weekly club meeting, one quickly observes that we have both men and women, along with diversity in age and ethnicity.
As Rotarians we often ask ourselves the following 4 way test of the things we think, say or do: Is it the Truth? Is it Fair to All Concerned? Will It Build Goodwill & Better Friendships? Will It be Beneficial to All Concerned?
Come have lunch with us and experience the magic of Rotary.
